A little about me

Growing up in a Greek American family, I learned early that food is about more than what’s on the table- it’s about welcoming others, celebrating life’s moments, and making others feel at home.

That spirit is rooted in Philoxenia, a Greek value of generous hospitality that continues to inspire everything I create.

My love for baking as a child, inspired by afternoons spent watching cooking shows, experimenting in my easy bake oven, and learning from the women in my family, especially my grandmother Dimitra, who’s recipes, traditions, and work ethic continue to inspire me today. In many ways Demi’s Kouzina is a tribute to her and generations of women before me.

Professionally, I’ve spent a decade in hospitality and artisan baking. My journey has allowed me to learn from talented chefs, refine my craft, and grow into management within resected bakeries. Along the way, I discovered that creating memorable experiences is just as important as creating beautiful desserts, and those years of hard work continue to shape every dessert I make.

Demi’s Kouzina brings together everything I love- Handcrafted desserts, meaningful celebrations, and Greek Heritage. Whether I am baking a custom cake, a tray of Greek cookies, or a pan of Portokalopita, my hope is that every order becomes part of someone’s special memory.

Welcome to my Kouzina
